Stories and Dreams at the Japanese Tea Garden
Sharp & Fine collaborates with the Gardens of Golden Gate Park to offer a unique performance experience in the Japanese Tea Garden. Presented in modular scenes that feature Sharp & Fine’s physically exuberant and distinctively theatrical choreography performed with live music, the performance invites audiences to share new perspectives on the garden’s beloved spaces.
Composing Improvisation: a Workshop with Christian Burns
This three-hour workshop led by Christian Burns will focus on strategies for approaching improvisation as real-time composition that encourages presence, responsiveness, and connections with both space and other people.

The Iphigenia Project
October 23-25
Z Space, San Francisco
The premiere of a new evening-length show inspired by Iphigenia at Aulis, a classic Greek tragedy written over two thousand years ago. Megan and Shannon Kurashige are co-directing and co-choreographing in collaboration with performer-devisers Eric Avery, Charmaine Butcher, Kira Fargas, Molly Levy, Hadassah Perry, and Ryan Rouland Smith. Jordan Glenn is composing a new score that will be performed live.
