Talk Story is a new performance series for stories told in the hilarious, profound, mutable, silly, heartrending, generous, outrageous, infuriating, transformative language of dance.
For Talk Story #1, you'll experience four short works by Sharp & Fine and three guest artists, then join us for a casual conversation about storytelling and dance. Our guest artists are folks we think are making some of the most riveting, ambitious, and refreshingly earnest dance work happening now.
Talk Story #1 features work by Sharp & Fine, Babatunji Johnson, chinchin HSU, and Molly Rose-Williams.

Iphigenia

The premiere of a new evening-length show inspired by Iphigenia at Aulis, a classic Greek tragedy written over two thousand years ago. Megan and Shannon Kurashige are co-directing and co-choreographing in collaboration with performer-devisers Eric Avery, Charmaine Butcher, Kira Fargas, Molly Levy, Hadassah Perry, and Ryan Rouland Smith. Jordan Glenn is composing a new score that will be performed live.
